Football is IN THE AIR!!!! Saturday August 25th, 2007
The TJ Youth Football Program started the season off this weekend, playing a tough Baldwin Whitehall Team. This was
the first 6/7 YO game of the season and they won with a score of 6-0. The 8 YO's continued the train rolling
with another victory over The Baldwin 8 YO's. The 8 YO's really looked tough and disciplined. Continuing
with a great day, the 9 YO's also won 12-6 beating an incredibly tough Baldwin team that is always in the playoffs.
The 10 YO's and 11 YO's did fair as well, however, played great games and continued that rough and tough TJ Football
Tradition. Here are a few pictures of the day.

Football Starts For TJ Youth Football!!!!
The football season officially got off to a start last week for TJ Youth Football. The players from the 6YO's, 7/8 YO's. 9 YO's,
10 YO's, 11 YO's and the 12/13 YO's all started hitting the sleds, ground and each other at Roosevelt School's Field.
Everyone from the kids to the parents seem to be having a great time and getting better as the days go. The TJ Youth

TJ Youth Football Hosts Annual Tim Cusick Football Camp
The Annual Tim Cusick Youth Football Camp was help this weekend at TJ High School Stadium. There were close to 75 kids that showed up for an early look at the upcoming football season. Many coaches and parents put together a great camp that got the season rolling......

Jaguars United Poised Well at Edinboro Cup
The U10 Jaguars United played a bunch of tough teams at the Cup at Edinboro this past weekend. all the players both guys and gals played their hearts out and over came many obstacles and came together as a team and one that will be one to be reckoned with come fall in the fall travel league!!!! Great games and weekend Jaguars.

West Mifflin U16 Wins Cup in Final Seconds at Edinboro.....
The U16 Boys from West Mifflin Soccer Club played their arch rivals the Erie's Edinboro Team for the Cup Championship. The games were hard fourth and hard played. The team from West Mifflin went 5-0 for the weekend and team best in the tournament. The winning goal, a "head shot" in in the the first picture. We still are not sure whose head it was, either way, it brought the cup back to West Mifflin for another year. Way to go guys and Head Coach Dave Derry!!!!!

New Facility Coming Along Nicely!!!!
Baldwin's new swimming facility is coming together rather nicely and rather fast too. The tile is being laid and the water system for the gutters is almost done and ready for water!!!!
